How To Block Website Locally In A Computer

A website can be blocked in Computer or Laptop by easily editing the host file. A host file is located windows operating system under the windows folder  in C Drive. To locate and edit the host file, 

Let us start, follow the following the steps:

1. Open the run by select "window+ R" Button.
2. Type "drivers" and Press Enter.
3. Now Open the "etc" folder.
4. You will find the hosts file inside the "etc" folder.
5. Right click on the hosts file and click the open with notepad option.
6. In the hosts file below type the "127.0.0.1     local host" line, and again type another line with any website name like as "127.0.0.1   www.google.com". 
7. Now, Save the file and close it.

Note: The above Process will be done in administrative account .
